Free DR checker
Check a domain’s reported authority without a made-up score.
Request the current Domain Rating available from Ahrefs for one domain. Provider outages, missing configuration and rate limits remain visible in the result.
Live provider check
Check one domain
Domain Rating by Ahrefs is requested through Sorsivo's public endpoint. Missing provider data stays visibly unavailable.
What the result means
DR is a provider signal, not a search ranking formula.
Ahrefs reports Domain Rating on a 0–100 scale based on its view of backlink strength. This page requests that reported value; it does not recreate or approximate Ahrefs' proprietary calculation.
Use DR as one comparative input alongside topical relevance, linking-page quality, organic visibility and real business fit. A score alone cannot show whether a page will rank or produce useful demand.
- Enter the root domain
Paste example.com or a full URL. The checker removes the path and www prefix.
- Request provider data
The public endpoint asks the configured Ahrefs source for the domain.
- Read the source and time
Keep the provider and checked-at value with the result when available.
- Compare with context
Review relevant pages and links before making an outreach or content decision.
Worked example
A useful result records more than the number.
Example record: example.com — DR 00 — Source: Ahrefs — Checked: date and time.
The “00” is only a layout example, not a measurement. Run the checker to request a real provider result, and treat “Unavailable” as unavailable.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about domain rating checker.
What is Domain Rating?
Domain Rating, commonly shortened to DR, is an Ahrefs metric that describes the relative strength of a website's backlink profile on a 0–100 scale. It is a provider metric, not a Google ranking score.
Does Sorsivo calculate its own DR?
No. The tool displays the Domain Rating returned by the configured Ahrefs provider. If provider data is missing, rate limited or unavailable, the page says so instead of estimating a score.
Can a higher DR guarantee higher rankings?
No. A Domain Rating value does not guarantee rankings, traffic, relevance or conversions. Review the page, query, content, links and search results together.
